Why there is no TripAdvisor for wines?” That was the question discussed by Diana and her husband over a glass of wine after a trip covering 5 wine regions, all on a Wine Atlas, that required way too much research than necessary.

And that prompted the creation of the Winerist . Diana left her career at the Investment Management Firm BlackRock to pursue her curiosity and her new found passion.

In this episode, we talked about the idea behind the Winerist, the values, the services that they provide and the fact that they kept in mind the need to help the SME’s (small and medium enterprises). We also talked about wine pairing, wine destinations, wine glasses, the Wine Show, about Moldova of course, the pandemic, the global heating and the shift that countries need to face and how they need to adapt to new temperatures and many other interesting subjects.

We did not talk about charity, but it is a big part of Diana’s life, as she is a big supporter of Charity Water and Hospice Angelus. She even founded her own NGO a few years ago, called 2water.

What can I say, she is an inspirational woman and just makes me proud to be Moldovan 🙂
