[EN] This is not a sponsored article, it is genuinely what we use and love. This is also an app that we were using before the pandemic, so things might have changed a lot since then (we used it for our travels around Europe between April 2019 – March 2020)
We really like being in nature and finding parking spaces or knowing different rules for different countries might make this task more difficult. But luckily we live in an era when we have an app for everything and anything so you can expect to have an app for amazing parking spaces, especially for motorhomes.
So Mark found this app called park4night and it is really amazing! People leave coordinates, pictures, reviews and specify if you need to pay or not and to be honest, we managed to stay mostly for free all around Europe (except for a few countries like Slovenia, UK). They also have information about campsites, which is very handy (we had to stay in a campsite for a few weeks in Aosta, Italy because of a medical issue). They also include points for services, which is essential for a motorhome and sometimes you could find them near a supermarket or in a car park or in a very random place and you really need an app to tell you where they are.
We had two encounters with the police (once in Italy and once in Poland), but to be fair, they were super nice (we had even more encounters with police in Spain, but that was to do with the pandemic and I will tell you more about it in another article, but I just wanted to say that they were super nice as well). But, the reason why the police came was either that we couldn’t take stuff out in that particular place (like chairs for example), or that we couldn’t stay overnight and that was fair enough. In most of the places it was OK, but I am just telling you so that you are aware of the fact that some locations might have specific or extra restrictions.

De asemenea, trebuie să știți că voi scrie despre perioada în care am folosit aplicația (aprilie 2019 – martie 2020), așa că s-ar putea ca lucrurile să fie diferite la moment (din cauza pandemiei).
Nouă ne place foarte mult să fim în natură, însă există diferite reguli în diferite țări, de aceea este mai complicat să știi unde poți parca autorulota. Însă, așa cum există o sumedenie de aplicații pentru aproape orice, există și o aplicație unde sunt indicate coordonatele exacte, poze, descriere, comentarii specifice, unde este cel mai apropiat campsite sau loc pentru servicii pentru autorulote, pentru că de multe ori serviciile pot fi lângă un supermarket sau într-o parcare undeva greu de găsit, așa că sunt tot felul de informații utile.
Această aplicație, pe care a găsit-o Mark, se numește park4night și anume datorită acestei aplicații am reușit să stăm gratis majoritatea timpului în locații superbe în natură (cu excepția a câtorva țări, printre care Slovenia și Marea Britanie).
Însă să vă așteptați că s-ar putea să fie un loc sau două cu mai multe restricții (și iarăși, vorbesc de timpurile dinainte de pandemie, acum probabil că sunt mult mai multe restricții oricum). Dar noi ne trezisem de două ori cu poliția: o dată în Italia și o dată în Polonia pentru ca în locul respectiv pe care îl alesesem, nu era voie să stăm pe noapte. Dar poliția e foarte de treabă și toți au fost foarte amabili cu noi (inclusiv când eram în Spania și începuse pandemia și nu aveam voie să stăm nicăieri!).
Dar, restul timp a fost extraordinar, vedeți mai sus doar câteva poze ca să vă faceți o idee.
